Speaker: Dra. Anabel López Ortiz
Anabel López Ortiz, originally from Oaxaca de Juárez. I am a Chemical Engineer by profession, graduated from the Instituto Tecnológico de Oaxaca. I began working at the Institute of Renewable Energies of the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM) in 2015 as part of the CONACYT Research Chairs Program. Since 2019, I have been serving as an Associate Researcher at UNAM.
I am a Level 1 member of the National System of Researchers (SNI). I have led and collaborated on various research projects and am the author of several articles published in international journals indexed in the Journal Citation Reports (JCR), as well as other publications in national journals and conferences.
I have supervised undergraduate, master’s, and doctoral theses. Currently, my work focuses on the solar processing of food, which includes solar drying and cooking.
