SIELE (Servicio Internacional de Evaluación de la Lengua Española – International Spanish Language Evaluation Service) certifies electronically the degree of proficiency in Spanish.
It is endorsed by the Instituto Cervantes, the University of Buenos Aires, the University of Salamanca, and the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM).
SIELE is the International Spanish Language Evaluation Service that certifies your level of Spanish proficiency electronically for your convenience.
SIELE is promoted by the Instituto Cervantes, the University of Buenos Aires, the University of Salamanca, and the National Autonomous University of Mexico (UNAM), ensuring quality standards and best practices in test design, as well as the use of various linguistic varieties from the Spanish-speaking world.
SIELE consists of four specific tests that cover all areas of Spanish language proficiency:
Reading Comprehension
Listening Comprehension
Written Expression and Interaction
Spoken Expression and Interaction
Choose the exam mode you wish to take (SIELE Global or any of the four independent modalities*), and select the country, date, and Examination Centre where you wish to obtain your SIELE certificate.
On the exam day, arrive at the selected centre 15 minutes before the scheduled time and bring the official identification document you used to book your test. Remember to have your login credentials for siele.org (email and password).
Your results will be available within a maximum of three weeks, and you will be able to download your Certificate or Score Report from the ‘My Page’ section on siele.org, depending on the type of exam taken.
